Section A · About your business

Let's start with the basics.

Question 01

What's the business called?

Legal name, trading name if different, and what your customers actually say when they refer to you.

Question 02

What does the business actually do?

In two sentences. Plain language. The way you'd explain it to your nephew, not to investors.

Question 03

How long has it been around?

Founding year, current team size, current revenue stage. Skip what you'd rather not share.

Section B · Your customers

Who's actually buying?

Question 04

Describe your ideal customer.

Title, industry, company size, why they buy from you. Be specific.

Question 05

Where do they actually find you?

Section C · Competition & positioning

Who else is in the room?

Question 06

Name your three closest competitors.

Companies that show up in deals you lose. Doesn't have to be exact category — adjacent counts.

Question 07

Why do customers choose you over them?

Top two reasons. From actual customer feedback, not founder hopes.

Section D · This project

What are we actually building?

Question 08

In one sentence — what's the goal?

If we hit it perfectly, what would be different in 6 months that isn't true today?

Question 09

What's the scope?

Question 10

When do you need it live?

Question 11

What's the budget range?

Question 12

Anything else we should know?

Constraints, history with previous agencies, internal politics, anything that'll save us a discovery call.

Done. Now what?

You'll hear from us within 48 hours with either a scoped proposal, a kickoff call invite, or an honest "this isn't a fit." No ghosting.
